The inaugural "Celebrating the Arts" Art Auction to support the arts--mainly music--at Sunset Beach Elementary School. The school sits on the north shore of Hawaii across from the famous surf break, the Banzai Pipeline. Recently, the position of the music teacher has come under fire, and the PTCA is doing all we can to raise funds to ensure this important element of child development is not lost completely.
For this event, the wealth of north shore artists are donating their works to be auctioned both silently and live in an effort to raise money for the school's disappearing programs. For the evening, in addition to creating a bed of music to serve as accompaniment to the auction information, they have set a few 30 minute periods to highlight local musicians. Jake will be playing for 45 min.

Many musicians have come together for this important fundraiser to benefit Kehau Sullivan. Keahu, daughter of North Shore surfer Pancho Sullivan, was born with a congenital heart condition that required much surgery.
Through the power of music we hope to raise enough funds to help support the family of Kehau with their medical bills. Jake will be doing a performance and MIGM will be giving away an MIGM Ukulele! You may enter to win the ukulele by attending the event in person and signing up at our booth. Since the MIGM Ukulele is not released yet, the winner will receive the ukulele when it is released.
